Can't log in or open my GCash account
Having login issues? We’ve listed the most common login errors and problems and how to log in and open your GCash account.
- If you’re an iPhone user, update to iOS 14 and newer. You can't access GCash if your OS is below iOS 14. See the iPhone models that support iOS 14 and higher.
- Force close the app.
- Update your GCash app.
- Toggle Airplane Mode on for 30 seconds, then off.
- Clear app cache (Settings > Apps > GCash > Storage > Clear Cache for Android).
- Relaunch the app.
If you still can’t log in, Chat with Gigi and follow the steps.
If you are seeing the message below, simply do the following:
- Scroll-down the message until you see the “Accept” button

Tap “Accept” to proceed with your login.
You can log in to GCash once the “Accept” button is tapped.
If you see this message, it means our security features detected multiple unusual attempts to change the device registered to your GCash app.
What you can do
- To log in to your GCash app, use your previously registered device.
- If you can no longer access your previously registered device, you may log in to your GCash app using your new device starting next month.

- On the login screen, tap Forgot MPIN?
- Tap Send Code and enter the 6-digit code sent via SMS.
- If you can’t get an OTP, wait 15 minutes and try again. Make sure you have a strong signal, your SMS inbox isn’t full, and your app is updated.
- Complete the security check.
- Set a new MPIN.
If you encounter a “Something Went Wrong” error with an error code that starts with “0a7”, wait 24 hours before trying again.
If you see the error message below while resetting MPIN, please wait for at least 15 minutes before you request for another OTP.
If your SIM got lost, report it immediately through the GCash app. Click here for steps to regain access.

If you see this message or an error code such as REF: 2631 00AF, REF: 6948, or 2631, follow these steps:
- Update the GCash app to the latest version.
- If the message or error code persists, go to your phone’s Settings.
- Tap Wi-Fi and connect to a different network, or turn on mobile data by tapping Cellular > Cellular Data.
- Reopen the GCash app.
