Can't transfer funds from GCash for Business Wallet
Note:
Transfers cannot be canceled. If you send money to the wrong account, you must contact the recipient's bank to request a refund. Always check account details before sending.
Your transfer may fail or not reflect right away for several reasons when sending funds from your GCash for Business (G4B) wallet.
Common reasons and what you can do
Tap the situation that matches your transaction to learn what to do:
If the "Transfer Funds" button is missing
- Check your user role: On Premium wallets, transfers require the Merchant Super Admin role. The button is hidden for Viewers and other non-admin roles. Contact your Super Admin to update your access.
- Confirm your account: Make sure you are logged into the correct business portal profile.
If the transfer failed immediately and no money was deducted
If you see "We couldn't process your transfer" and your balance remains untouched, check the following:
- Recipient name format: The recipient account name must be 35 characters or fewer and contain no special characters.
- Destination details: Make sure the recipient bank or e-wallet account details are correct and supported.
- Available balance and limits: Ensure you have enough funds to cover the transfer and have not reached your daily sending limit.
- Connection issue: Refresh your browser and try again on a stable internet connection.
If money was deducted, but the recipient hasn't received it (PESONet)
- Check wallet status: Go to the Transactions tab. If the status shows "Success," the funds have left your GCash wallet.
-
Allow for bank clearing schedules: External banks credit PESONet transfers in batches during banking days:
- Sent before cut-off (banking days): Usually arrives on the same day.
- Sent after cut-off, on weekends, or on holidays: Arrives on the next banking day.
If you think you were charged multiple times
- Check your transaction history: Look in the Transactions tab to verify if duplicate deductions exist for the exact same amount and recipient.
- Do not retry the transfer: Note down both Transaction Reference Numbers and contact GCash for Business Merchant Support.
If no confirmation screen appeared after you submitted
- Check before resubmitting: Do not immediately send the transfer again. Open the Transactions tab first.
- Verify status: If the transaction shows "Success," the transfer went through even if the confirmation screen failed to load.
