I can’t access my GCash for Business account. What do I do?
Unable to log in? GCash for Business has a different login process from the personal app—check that you’re following the correct steps.
Before We Start, Make Sure You Have These:
- Your Business Email: This is the email you used when you signed up for GCash for Business (it's not your personal email or phone number!).
- Your Company's Login Details: You should have these when your company created the GCash for Business account.
- Updated Browser: Use the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge on your phone or computer.
- Your 2FA Method: This is how you confirm it's really you logging in. It could be Google Authenticator or your registered email.
How to troubleshoot GCash for Business Sign In
- Make Sure You're in the Right Place:
- Go to business.gcash.com. This is the ONLY place to log in to GCash for Business.
- You can't use the regular GCash app or the regular merchant portal.
- Double-Check Your Email and Password:
- Use your business email address, not your personal one or your mobile number.
- Make sure you typed everything correctly.
- Forgot Your Password?
- Click "Forgot Password" on the login page.
- GCash will guide you through resetting it.
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is Important!
- GCash for Business needs 2FA to keep your account safe.
- Important Update: Starting July 25, we're switching to email-based One-Time Passwords (OTP). So, make sure you can access your registered email!
- Not getting the code? Check your spam or junk folders. Or, if you're using Google Authenticator, make sure it's working correctly.
- Is Your Account Approved?
- Only one GCash for Business account is allowed per company.
- New User? Ask your company's GCash for Business admin to add you.
- Application "Returned" or "Rejected"? Check your email for instructions on what to do next.
- Is Your Browser Compatible?
- Make sure you're using one of these browsers, and that it's updated:
- Chrome (version 116 or higher)
- Mozilla Firefox (version 116 or higher)
- Safari (version 16 or higher)
- Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based, version 116 or higher)
- If the page isn't loading right, try clearing your browser's cache or use a different browser.
- Make sure you're using one of these browsers, and that it's updated:
- Account Verification:
- Make sure your business account is fully verified.
- If you're waiting for approval, it usually takes 1-2 business days after you applied. You'll get an email when it's done.
