GBayanihan is a donation platform in the GCash app where users can discover and donate to verified NGO partners and charitable causes.
Through GBayanihan, donors can:
- Browse organizations by advocacy
- Learn more about each partner’s programs and impact
- View official permits for transparency
- Donate through a secure, streamlined experience
FAQs
Joining GBayanihan
To join GBayanihan, prepare:
- An active GCash GBills Merchant account
- A valid Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC) certification
- A DSWD Public Solicitation permit (at least 1 year validity)
Note: If your NGO is exempt from the PCNC or DSWD permit, submit proof of exemption and its legal basis for GCash review and approval. GCash is also waiting for the IRR for Executive Order No. 117 before updating related requirements.
Email the documents to advocacy@gcash.com and state that you are applying for GBayanihan.
Receiving donations through GCash
GCash offers several donation and collection channels for fundraising, events, and online platforms:
GBills (In-App Merchant Wallet)
- Listed under the Pay Bills section in the GCash app
- Zero maintaining balance
- Daily transaction and settlement reports
- Auto-sweep next banking day to your nominated bank account
Scan to Pay (GCash QR Code)
- Accept instant, touchless on-site donations using a dedicated GCash QR
- Reduces cash handling risk
- Optional toolkit (tent card, phone, SIM)
- Daily transaction reports and next-day auto-sweep to your bank
Web Pay (GCash payment on your website or platform)
- Add GCash as a payment option on your website, app, or online portal
- Enables quick, seamless donations from GCash users
- Can be used in third-party donation portals (for example, DSWD Kaagapay Portal)
Prepare the following:
Corporate identity
- SEC Registration Certificate
- Articles of Incorporation
- General Information Sheet (with Beneficial Owner page)
- Notarized Secretary’s Certificate or Board Resolution
Financials and tax
- BIR Registration (Form 2303)
- Proof of bank information
- Proof of financial capacity (for example, Income Tax Return, Audited Financial Statements)
Identity and governance
- Valid government IDs of authorized signatory or signatories
- Valid government IDs with specimen signatures of main officers
- GCash Individual KYC Forms for signatories and officers
Regulatory
- DSWD Public Solicitation Permit (valid for at least 1 year, with GCash specified where applicable)
- AMLC Certificate of Registration
- SEC Mandatory Disclosure Form

Distributing cash aid through GCash
Yes. GCash offers Fund Disbursement Solutions to credit cash aid directly to beneficiaries’ GCash wallets, and GCash Visa Cards to give beneficiaries a physical card linked to their wallets.
Fund Disbursement Solutions let you:
- Credit cash aid directly to GCash wallets 24/7
- Use a no-maintaining-balance setup with no ADB required
- Track disbursements digitally with automated reconciliation reports
- Benefit from fast verification and real-time disbursement
GCash Visa Cards let beneficiaries:
- Withdraw cash from 20,000+ ATMs nationwide
- Pay over the counter and online where Visa is accepted
- Use the card for international purchases (subject to product terms), with zero foreign transaction fees and SMS transaction alerts
In addition to the standard corporate, financial, identity, and regulatory documents, prepare:
- Annex 2: PowerPay+ and System Form
- Form 8: System Access Request Form
- SPOC (Single Point of Contact) Nomination Form
- Implementing Agreement for Funds Disbursement Service

Yes. GCash partners with NGOs and community organizations to provide free financial education workshops tailored to underserved communities.
