What are the requirements to create a GCash for Business merchant account?
To register for GCash for Business, the following requirements must be met:
Eligibility Criteria
- Authorized Signatory: The registrant must be the authorized signatory of a government-registered business.
- Business Registration: The business must be officially registered with the government as a:
- Sole Proprietorship
- Partnership
- Corporation (personal businesses may be supported soon)
- Email Requirement: A valid email address that has not been registered previously with GCash for Business must be provided.
- Verified GCash Account: There must be a fully verified GCash account with at least 12 months of activity.
- Industry Risk Level: The business should belong to a low-risk industry.

Important Notes
- Only one account per company should be registered.
- If there’s an existing account, you need to contact the designated administrator for access.
- Any changes, once your application is approved, cannot alter the registered company name.
