What is the GCash Account Ownership Limit?
The Account Ownership Limit lets you have up to five (5) fully verified personal GCash accounts under your name.
Once you reach this limit, you cannot create, use, or access more accounts, as stated in the GCash Terms and Conditions.
How can I know if I have more than five (5) GCash accounts?
You’ll get a message in your GCash app inbox: “Account Limits Exceeded”.
- Tap the link in the message to contact our support team.
- We will send you the list of GCash accounts registered under your name.
- Reply to the message with the number that you don’t want to use.
- If that account still has funds left, we will transfer the amount to your other active account.
What happens to the excess accounts?
Excess accounts will be restricted based on the following criteria:
- Accounts you use the least
- Accounts with PHP 0 balance
- Accounts not linked to any active loan
If you still want to use the excess number after it was restricted,
- Tap our message in the app inbox.
- Request to deactivate another account.
- Once deactivated, you can request to reactivate your other number. This can take up to 14 calendar days after you submit the requirements.
If you don’t respond, your excess account/s may be subject to inactivity policies under the GCash Terms and Conditions.
What happens to GCash services linked to a restricted account?
If an account is restricted, you won’t be able to log in. Rest assured your funds remain secure.
- Investments and savings: You may transfer the account balance from your GFunds and GSave to your other fully verified account.
- GCash Pera Outlet (GPO): You can transfer your business account to your other fully verified account.
