GCash Wallet and Transaction Limits
Note:
As part of GCash's compliance with the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2001 mandated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), GCash has set limits on wallet balance and transaction amounts in order to protect users from financial institutions being abused through money obtained from illegal sources (drugs, smuggling, arms dealing).
A wallet limit is the maximum amount of funds that can be kept in your GCash Wallet. Transaction limits are the maximum amount that can be received in your wallet (incoming) or sent from it (outgoing). Your transaction limit resets every start of the month.

Increase your wallet and transaction limits
Note: Only Philippine-issued SIM (eg. Globe, Smart, etc.) users are eligible to increase their wallet limit.
You can further increase your wallet and transaction limits by doing any of the following:
- Fully Verify your GCash Account
- Cash In and Link to BPI, Unionbank, Payoneer, or Paypal
- Open a GSave account and deposit at least PHP 100
- Open a GFunds account and invest at least PHP 100
Once you have done any of the items above, your Wallet Profile will now be GCash Plus, which entitles you to have an increased wallet limit of PHP 500,000.
