Damaged and broken phone, camera, or SIM

To keep your GCash account safe, we use face verification and only allow access on registered devices.

Before switching phones, you need to unregister your old phone first. But if it is damaged, don’t worry—you can still use GCash on a new device.

How to register a new phone

1. Log in to the GCash app.
2. You’ll see “It looks like you changed your phone”
3. Tap I want to register this phone.

4. Complete the selfie scan or enter your OTP.
5. You’ll see a screen that says “For your safety, we are running o few more checks to make sure it's you trying to access to your account”
6. You’ll need to wait 4 hours before you can log in. This waiting time CANNOT be changed for your security. After 4 hours, you can log in to your new phone at the time shown.
