GCash Amex Virtual Pay Card Decommissioning Advisory

The GCash American Express® (Amex) Virtual Pay Card has officially been discontinued on April 1, 2026, and we can no longer accept new orders. If you have an existing card, please update your payment methods to your GCash Visa Card or GCash Pay Online to avoid failed or declined card payments.

Important Reminders

1. Update your payment methods. Log in to each website or app where your AMEX Virtual Pay is saved. Go to Payment methods, Billing, or Subscriptions. Remove GCash Amex card and replace it with another payment method, like the GCash Visa Card or GCash Pay Online
2. You can order a GCash Visa Card in the app: tap Cards > Order a GCash card. If your address is serviceable, you’ll receive it within 10–13 business days after payment.
3. Refunds or chargebacks will be credited to your GCash wallet.
4. To raise or check existing tickets about your GCash Amex Virtual Pay, open the GCash app, tap Help, then My Support Tickets.
5. Most international merchants accept Philippine-issued Visa cards - in the instance that merchant does not accept your GCash Visa Card, you may use GCash’s Pay Online feature.
