How can I activate GCash for Business products as an onboarded merchant?
Product activation is a critical step that enables merchants to start accepting payments through GCash for Business. Activating a product grants access to payment tools such as QR codes, card payment terminals, and online payment gateways, allowing you to serve customers through multiple payment channels.
What you need before you start
- Completed merchant onboarding with GCash for Business
- Admin-level access to your GCash for Business account
- Updated business information in your account

Soundpay
- Accept in-person payments via static QR-PH codes
- Allow customers to pay at partner stores or counters
- Ideal for retail shops, food stalls, and service providers
Pocketpay
- Accept card or e-wallet payments
- Includes Pocketpay services setup and transaction tracking
- Compatible with NFC-enabled Android phones as mobile card readers
How to activate products
- Access the Products section From the left sidebar menu, click Products
- Select your product You'll see a list of available products. Click Activate next to the one you want
- Review terms and conditions Read and agree to the terms of service and fee structure for the selected product
- Confirm activation Click Confirm Activation
- Wait for approval Your request will be reviewed. Most activations are processed within 1–3 business days
- Receive confirmation Once approved, you'll receive an email notification and see the product status change to Active
What happens next
After successful activation, you can start accepting payments through your chosen product. You'll have access to payment tools and can begin processing transactions according to the product's capabilities.
