Report a scam
A scam transaction is when someone tricks you into sending them money. If this happens using GCash, follow these steps:
- Report the scammer to the authorities (PNP or NBI).
- Report to GCash immediately:
- Log in to your GCash app
- Go to Transactions
- Select the specific transaction you would like to report (tap Load More in the transaction history to view older transactions)
- Tap Get Help > Report as scam
- Fill out the ticket form
- Tap Submit
- Block the scammer on SMS or social media.
By submitting a report, you acknowledge that:
Any person who, with malice or in bad faith, reports or files completely unwarranted or false information that results in the temporary holding of funds may be held criminally liable for malicious reporting under Section 11, in relation to Section 16(e), of the Anti-Financial Account Scamming Act (AFASA).
After you report, our support team will review your case and reach out within 24 hours. Please note that the return of scammed funds is not guaranteed.
