Fully Verified but downgraded to Basic account
All Fully Verified users must regularly update their info in GCash. You will get reminders through SMS and the GCash app inbox before the deadline.
Your GCash account may be downgraded if you don’t update your account information as required by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
How to Update your Account Information
- Open the GCash app.
- Tap Profile > tap your name.
- Tap Update Account Information > Get Started.
- Follow the steps.
If you miss the deadline, your account will be downgraded from Fully Verified to Basic. You’ll need to restart the verification process.
