Did not receive money from cash in or bank transfer going to GCash
If the money hasn't appeared in your GCash wallet, follow these steps:
Step 1: Check Transaction Status
Open your bank or e-wallet app and check your transaction history.
- If the status shows "failed" or "pending", your money will return to your source account. This takes a few minutes to 3 banking days.
- If the status shows "successful" and your funds were deducted, go to Step 2.
Step 2: Check Transfer Details

Wrong GCash number?
If you entered the wrong number, contact your bank or e-wallet. They should be able to accommodate your request. -
Exceeded your GCash limit?
If the transfer amount goes over your daily or monthly limit, the transaction will fail. Your money will return to your source account.
Still Haven't Received Your Money?
If you've done all the checks but still have issues, tap below.
What did you use to cash in?
Ask the cashier or outlet staff for help. They're trained to fix cash-in errors.
For machines (TouchPay, CLiQQ) with no staff, take a photo of the error and keep your receipt.

Cash-ins may take a few minutes to 24 hours.
If money hasn't arrived after 24 hours, contact the merchant directly. They can check and work with GCash if needed.
If you used online banking or another e-wallet to cash in, check the wait time first.
Transfer Method & Wait Time:
- InstaPay: Usually instant, may take up to 2 hours during busy times
- PESONet: Within 1 banking day (before 3 PM). Transfers after 3 PM, weekends, or holidays are processed the next banking day
If your money hasn't arrived after the expected time, please log in to the GCash app, tap Help, then tap Chat with Gigi.
US Bank: If cash-in doesn't show after 1 business day, please log in to the GCash app, tap Help, then tap Chat with Gigi.
EU/UK Bank:
- Always use the GCash app to cash in
- Check your bank balance first
- Don’t click "Replay" or "Retry" in your bank app. This may cause cash-in problems. Contact your bank for a refund

If funds from PayPal don't arrive after 24-48 hours, please log in to the GCash app, tap Help, then tap Chat with Gigi.
If you didn’t get your Payoneer funds, please log in to the GCash app, tap Help, then tap Chat with Gigi.
Ask the GPO partner for help. They are trained to fix errors.
