Follow these steps to check if your Send Money transaction was successful:
- Check if the sender sent money to the correct mobile number
- Check your network signal and make sure you have a stable connection
- Check if you received a confirmation message of successful transfer in your App inbox (which may take up to 5 minutes)
- Check if your Send Money transaction was reflected in your Transaction History
- If you've done the steps above and still have an issue with receiving funds, submit a ticket here
If you sent money to the old number of your recipient or another person with a different number, it would be best to reach out to the wrong recipient of the funds and ask for the money back.
Based on policy, we can only accommodate wrong send reversal requests for one reason: Only one digit in the wrong recipient’s mobile number is wrong. Please note that even if it's a single-digit error, the case will still be subject to review. If this is the reason, submit a ticket here so that we can review it.
To help improve security, your confirmation messages were moved from your text message inbox (SMS) to your GCash App Inbox and Transaction History. To learn more, you may read about the Shift of SMS messages to GCash App Inbox. If you have additional concerns, please submit a ticket here.
