Can't send money with Express Send
If you see an error when sending money, follow these steps based on the message:
Ask the recipient if they reached their wallet limit. You can try a smaller amount or use Bank Transfer.
Check your limits: Tap Profile > Profile Limits. For higher limits, follow these steps to increase your limits.
This means you’ve reached the number of send & receive transactions with Express Send.
Your limit will reset on the first day of each month.
If you need to transfer funds to another GCash account immediately, you can:
- Add funds to a GCash wallet via Cash In
- Transfer to a bank account or e-wallet via Bank Transfer
- If you are a merchant: Sign up for a GCash Pera Outlet account.
This helps you avoid double sending money to the same recipient.
Wait at least 5 minutes between transactions. You can check your Transactions page to see if it was successful.
If you see errors like REF: 2631 00AF or REF: 6948, 2631:
- Force close the GCash app.
- Turn on Airplane mode for 30 seconds, then turn it off.
- Switch to WiFi or mobile data for internet.
- Reopen the app.
You can only send money to an active and valid number. Double check the details and try again.
This means that the recipient's account is on hold. Try sending to other users and see if the error persists. You can also try using Bank Transfer instead.
