Received an email about account inactivity
GCash regularly reviews accounts that have been inactive for a long time. If your GCash-registered mobile number has no incoming or outgoing transactions for more than 24 months, the account will be scheduled for closure.
I received an email about inactivity, but I did not register my email with GCash.
The owner of the mobile number may have entered your email address by mistake when registering or updating their account. You may ignore the email. Since you do not own the GCash account linked to that number, no action is required from you.
When should I make a transaction to keep my GCash account active?
Please cash in on or before June 10, 2026, to avoid account deactivation.
Does logging in count as a transaction?
No. Logging in to or opening the app does not count as a transaction. You must cash in to keep your account active.
After my account is deactivated, how can I reactivate it?
We cannot reactivate a deactivated account. You will need to register with GCash again using the same mobile number.
I was not able to make any transactions before the deadline. What will happen to my account?
Your GCash account will be deactivated after June 10, 2026. You will receive a notice once your inactive account has been closed.
