Traveling to the Philippines? Create a GTourist account on GCash to pay in stores across the country.
What you should know about GTourist
- You need a non-Philippine mobile number or SIM to sign up.
- You can create an account before arriving, but it will activate only when you are in the Philippines.
- Your account is valid for 30 days and will deactivate automatically afterward.
- For a basic account, you only need a valid Visa or Mastercard credit or debit card issued in your name.
- For a fully verified account, you will need your foreign passport.
- GTourist is currently available in select countries. We will gradually roll out GTourist to more countries soon. Tap below to view the list of available countries.

How to create a GTourist account
- Download the GCash app from the App Store for iOS or Google Play for Android.
- Open the app, enter your mobile number, and allow location sharing.
- Enter the six-digit OTP sent to your mobile number. Make sure your SIM has roaming enabled to receive the code.

Tap For Visiting Foreigners.
- Enter your personal information exactly as shown on your passport, including your middle name, if applicable.
- Set your MPIN.
- On the GCash Tourist Page, tap Link a Card to start paying at stores in the Philippines.
- Enter your Visa or Mastercard card details.
- Once your card is successfully linked, you’ll be directed to the GCash Tourist Dashboard.
