How do I claim my money from a suspended GCash Basic account?
If your account stays non-verified for 12 months after registration, it will be restricted, and you'll be charged a monthly Basic Account Maintenance Fee of PHP 15 monthly. To access your remaining balance, you can either create a new GCash account or verify your current Basic account.

Your GCash account will be closed once your balance reaches 0To address this issue and ensure access to your funds, follow these steps to verify your new or existing GCash account.
- Make sure your new GCash account is Fully Verified
- GCash verification may take up to 3 days.
- Prepare a valid ID accepted for verification & a selfie with the ID
- Submit a ticket to retrieve funds from your old GCash Account
- Prepare an accepted valid ID and take a selfie while holding it. Make sure the information on your ID matches what you have on your GCash account. You’ll need this for the next step.
- Submit a ticket to temporarily lift your account suspension.
- Once lifted, log in to your GCash and complete your verification within 24 hours. Failure to do so will mean your account will be re-suspended.
Note:
If you encounter a "Something went wrong" message when trying to log in to your GCash account and have NOT received an email from one of our official GCash channels, it may indicate that your account has been restricted for other reasons.
