How do I claim my money from a suspended GCash Basic account?
If your account stays non-verified for 12 months after registration, it will be restricted, and you'll be charged a monthly Basic Account Maintenance Fee. To access your remaining balance, you can either create a new GCash account or verify your current Basic account.
To access your funds, you may follow these steps:
- Make sure your new GCash account is Fully Verified
- Prepare any one of the following valid IDs accepted
- Submit a ticket to transfer the funds from your old number to your number number.
You’ll get a confirmation email in your GCash registered email address about your transfer of funds request within 48 hours.
- Prepare an accepted valid ID and take a selfie while holding it.
- Submit a ticket to temporarily lift your account suspension.
Once lifted, log in to your GCash and complete your verification within 24 hours. Failure to do so will mean your account will be re-suspended.
