Cash in via PayPal
To cash in via PayPal, make sure that you check the following first:
- Your PayPal should be linked to your GCash account
- PayPal Cash ins have a limit of PHP 100,000 for each pre-approval plan. You will need to unlink and re-link for the limits to refresh this
- For seamless transactions, convert your PayPal funds into Peso (PHP) to proceed with the withdrawal. If you currently do not have Philippine Peso added as a currency, log in to your PayPal account to add the new currency balance. Note that any changes in your account such as name modification and verification, and currency conversion should be done via the PayPal website or the PayPal app
How to cash in to GCash with PayPal
- On your GCash homepage, tap Cash In
- Tap Global Partners and Remittance > PayPal
- Enter the cash in amount (minimum PHP 500), then tap Next
- Confirm the amount for cash in
You will receive an email and SMS notification once the funds have been added to your GCash wallet. Note that most transactions will be processed instantly or up to 24-48 hours.

If your cash in cannot be processed/declined, check the following:
- Verify if you are still within your GCash wallet and transaction limits
- PayPal may have placed limitations on your account due to one of the following reasons: unauthorized use, account limits, higher-risk activity, or an inactive account. To resolve this issue, check your PayPal account for restrictions or needed verification, then relink to GCash to be able to cash in again.

The cash in transaction may take some time depending on your cash in method. Rest assured your funds are safe with us and you will receive a notification once this has been completed. Verify if your Cash In transaction was successful:
- Check your network signal and make sure you have a stable connection
- Check if you received an SMS confirmation from GCash
- Check your GCash Transaction History or App Inbox
- Check if you entered the correct mobile number
- Check if you entered the correct OTP. You have 3 attempts, after which, you will be asked to wait 5 minutes to try again
- If you used PayPal, Western Union, or MoneyGram, please double-check that the reference number was correct
- If you followed the steps above, but still haven't received your Cash In funds, submit a ticket.
