My GCash bill payment was not posted or confirmed by the biller. What do I do?
Once you pay your bill through GCash, your wallet will be deducted, and the payment will be processed. However, the posting date—when the biller reflects the payment—varies depending on the partner biller. Please view the specific posting period here.
Remember:
- Processing Date: When you make the payment in GCash.
- Posting Date: When the biller reflects the payment on their system.
Here’s how the processing and posting dates work:
Example 1:
Biller: Meralco
Posting Date: Within 24 hours
If you paid your Meralco bill on February 12, 2025 (Processing Date), your payment will be posted by February 13, 2025 (Posting Date).

If your payment has not been posted or confirmed by the biller, check your GCash App Inbox or Transaction History and GCash wallet balance for payment confirmation. The following scenarios may happen:

If your payment shows and your GCash wallet was deducted:
Your payment went through successfully. It’s now being processed by the biller. Wait for the biller to post the payment. -
If your payment doesn’t show and your GCash wallet wasn’t deducted:
Your payment didn’t go through. Try making the payment again after one hour.
If you still don’t have any confirmation or update from your biller 1 business day after the posting period, click here to ask for help. A customer service representative will contact you in 24 hours.
