Note: This feature is currently on limited release and is coming soon for all users. DoubleSafe Activation is only needed when you log in to a new device.
What is GCash DoubleSafe?
GCash DoubleSafe is a security feature of GCash that prevents unauthorized transactions through the use of a selfie scan (for fully verified users) or additional OTP (for non-verified users) to make sure that you are the only one with access to your GCash account on any device.

Can I use other verification methods to access my account?
If you are not yet verified, you will have to enter an additional OTP after keying in your MPIN when you log in.
Note: If you have 5 failed attempts, you will not be able to access your GCash account for 24 hours. Please retry after 24 hours.
Why can’t I link my device using DoubleSafe?
There are several reasons why you are unable to experience DoubleSafe at the moment:
1. This feature is currently on limited release and is coming soon for all users.
2. If you are using Biometrics for account login, the face scan will not appear. Please use your MPIN to log in instead.
3. You have exceeded the number of allowable attempts to link your device. You may retry after 24 hours.

For agent assistance, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Submit a Ticket with the following link.
Step 2: Input your email address, GCash registered name, and mobile phone number.
Step 3: Select “I can’t log in to my GCash app” in the Concern Category.
Step 4: Answer "Yes" to "Were you asked to take a selfie scan or enter another OTP when logging in?"
Step 5: Provide a description and screenshots of the error experienced.
After submitting your ticket, please take note of your ticket number and make sure to retry after 24 hours. If the error still persists after 24 hours, reach out to our agent through your ticket for further assistance.
