How to cash in to my bank via Instapay Cash In

Starting February 2, 2026, UnionBank Cash In will switch to InstaPay per BSP regulations. To keep using it, relink your account: Tap Cash In > Local Banks > Link Bank Account > Select UnionBank.
Before you cash in
- InstaPay Cash In lets you add money to your GCash account without leaving the app. Just log in using your bank account, link it, and top up your GCash.
- GCash cash-in fees under InstaPay stay the same. But some banks may change their own fees. Check with your bank for their current fees.
- Check your Wallet and Transaction limits. InstaPay Cash In has a limit of PHP 50,000 per transaction
- Make sure your bank account is linked to GCash
How to cash in via Instapay
- On the GCash app, tap Cash In
- Tap Local Banks
- Select BPI or UnionBank
- Put the amount
- Review the details and tap Next
- Follow the steps after being sent to the bank's website
Once done, you'll get a confirmation through push notification and email. Your balance will update right away.
If the cash in fails, the total amount, plus fees, will be sent back to your bank account.
