If you can’t use Commute, please follow the steps below:
-
Check your GCash balance.
Make sure you have at least PHP 14 in your GCash Wallet. Station staff can guide you to the nearest cash-in machine if needed.
-
Check your internet connection.
You need a stable internet connection to generate a new QR Code. If your connection is stable, wait around 12 seconds for the QR Code to load. Once you’ve downloaded the QR code, you don’t need an internet connection anymore.
-
Adjust your screen brightness.
Your QR Code might not scan if your screen is too dim. Increase your phone’s brightness.
-
Make sure you’re using the correct QR Code.
Only use the Commute QR Code. Personal QR Codes for Send Money or Scan to Pay won’t work.
-
Check if you’ve already scanned in.
You can confirm this at the top of your Commute QR Code screen.
