What is the GCash Account Ownership Limit?
The Account Ownership Limit lets you have up to five (5) fully verified personal GCash accounts under your name.
Once you reach this limit, you can no longer create, use, or access additional accounts, as stated in the GCash Terms and Conditions.
Can I still create or use another GCash account if I already have five (5) GCash accounts?
No. If you already have five (5) fully verified personal GCash accounts under your name, you can no longer create, add, use, or access another account.
If you have more than five (5) accounts under your name
You may receive an "Account Limits Exceeded" message in your GCash app inbox.
Once you receive the message:
- Tap the link in the message to contact our support team.
- We’ll send you the list of GCash accounts registered under your name.
- Reply with the account number you no longer want to use.
- If the account still has funds, we’ll transfer the remaining balance to another active GCash account under your name.
If you already know which accounts you no longer need
You can submit an account deletion request to have those accounts deactivated. See Delete or close my old GCash account for the steps.
