How can I avail of GLoan?
GLoan is a pre-qualified loan offered to select users only. To unlock GLoan, keep using GCash services such as Pay Bills, Buy Load, Cash In, Send Money, GInsure, and GInvest.
GCash evaluates your eligibility weekly, so you may qualify for GLoan soon. Once you are qualified for GLoan, you will receive an SMS from GCash.
Note:
GCash Overseas users (accounts with international mobile numbers) are not eligible for GLoan, GGives, or GCredit. These lending products are only available to users with Philippine-registered mobile numbers.
Please take note of the other GLoan Requirements:
- A Fully Verified GCash user
- Filipino citizenship
- Valid government ID
- At least 21 years old
- Verified GCash email address
Note:
- A high GScore or use of GCash for a long time does not guarantee eligibility.
- Previous access to GLoan does not always guarantee eligibility, as it is subject to regular reassessment, which depends on your profile and activity.
On the GCash homepage, tap Borrow > GLoan.

Follow the steps below to avail GLoan offer:
- Tap Get Started
- Input your loan amount, select purpose of loan, and tap Get this Loan
- Review loan terms, then tap Continue
- Complete personal information and tap Next
- Review the GLoan application, then tap Continue
- Agree to the Disclosure Statement and the Terms and Conditions of the Loan. Tap Continue
- Check the amount you will receive from GCash. Select Continue
- Enter the 6-digit authentication code sent to your GCash-registered mobile number.
Once finished, you will receive your loan in your GCash wallet within 24 hours. A confirmation will be sent via SMS and to your registered GCash email.
Q: I’ve been using GCash for many years already, and yet I'm still not eligible.
A: GLoan offers depend on GScore, account activity, and system checks. While long-term use helps, it doesn’t guarantee eligibility.
Your account is regularly evaluated, so offers may change over time.
Q: I was eligible before, but I’m no longer eligible. Why?
A: Previous access to GLoan does not always guarantee eligibility, as it is subject to regular evaluation, which depends on your profile and activity.
Q: My GScore is high, but why am I still not eligible?
A: GScore is just one of many factors used to check your GLoan eligibility. The system also takes into account your usage, repayment history, and other internal factors.
A high GScore doesn’t guarantee an offer. GLoan is only available to pre-selected users—you’ll know you’re eligible if you receive an SMS from us.
Q: Is there a way to expedite the GLoan eligibility process?
A: GLoan offers are system-generated and cannot be manually unlocked or expedited.
The best way to increase your chances is to stay active on GCash and keep your account information up to date.
Q: Why do others have a lower GScore than I do, yet they are eligible, while I’m not?
A: Every user has a different profile. GLoan eligibility considers more than just GScore, and regularly evaluates various system-generated factors.
Q: Why is my GLoan limit low? Can I request to increase it?
A: Your GLoan credit limit is auto-generated based on your account profile and system evaluation. It cannot be manually adjusted.
Q: Why did my GLoan credit limit change or not increase even though I pay on time?
A: While repayment behavior is essential, your credit limit is affected by several other factors evaluated by the system.
Q: I have multiple GCash mobile numbers. Why can’t I apply for GLoan using my other numbers?
A: GLoan is only available on one active GCash number per user. If you have more than one, you can only use GLoan on the number linked to your current loan.
If you see an error on another number, it might be because you still have an active GLoan on a different account. To use a new number, ensure your existing loan is fully paid off first.
Q: I’ve been using GCash actively, so why is it still hard to become eligible for GLoan?
A: GLoan eligibility is determined by multiple dynamic factors beyond app usage duration.
Remaining active and maintaining good account standing increases your chances of being eligible, but does not guarantee eligibility.
