Rejected GTourist Application
If your GTourist application was rejected, check the app or SMS notification for the reason.
Here are the common issues and how to fix them:
Make sure the GCash app has access to your camera:
- Go to your phone settings
- Find the GCash app
- Enable camera access
Your photo may have been blurry, dark, or covered. Follow these tips for the perfect selfie:
- Use good lighting. Take your selfie in a bright area.
- Choose a simple background with no people.
- Make sure your face is clear and fully visible. Remove glasses or face masks.
- Follow the steps in-app (like blinking), and hold as directed.
You may submit a new application right away in the GCash app.
There may be a problem with your passport photo or the details you entered. Check the tips below:
- Use your original and valid passport (NOT expired).
- Make sure the information in your passport exactly matches what you entered in the GCash app.
- Take the photo in a bright area and avoid using flash.
- Make sure the entire passport is fully visible and clear (not cropped or blurry).
- Take the photo right side up.
You may submit a new application right away in the GCash app.
You have exceeded the maximum number of attempts to submit an application. Resubmit your application after 24 hours.
It’s possible you did not meet internal policy requirements. These policies help ensure the safety and compliance of all GCash accounts.
Otherwise, try verifying again by tapping Profile > Verify Now in the GCash app and ensure all details and documents are correct.
