What is GInsure?
GInsure is the insurance platform of the GCash app. If your GCash account is fully verified, you can use GInsure on your phone.
It has two types:
- Embedded Insurance – insurance that comes with or can be added to some GCash payments
- Insurance Hub – extra insurance you choose and buy
GInsure Insurance Hub
You can choose low-cost insurance based on what you need:
- Health – helps pay hospital and doctor bills
- Life – gives money to your family if you die
- Accident – helps if you die or cannot work after an accident
- Goals / VUL – plans that combine investment and insurance
- Travel – helps with trip delays, travel problems, and medical bills
- Occupation – cover for workers like drivers, office staff, and OFWs
- Vehicle – car insurance and CTPL
- Lifestyle – cover for your gadgets and shopping
- Property – cover for your home or the place you stay
- Business – cover for your business
- Pets – helps with vet bills and pet medicine
Embedded Insurance in GCash
Some GCash services already have built-in insurance:
- Buy Load – free health and accident cover
- Send Money / Express Send – Scam Insurance
- Online Payments – Online Shopping Protect
- Bills Pay – Bill Protect
Policy Management via “My GInsure”
In the GInsure section, you can:
- See your policy details
- Check your active cover
- File a claim
- Get updates and reminders
- See insurer contact details
All GInsure plans are from insurance companies approved by the Insurance Commission of the Philippines. These providers follow all IC rules and regulations.
