How to use and activate Tap to Pay

Tap to Pay lets you pay in-store (not for ATM or online) without scanning or swiping. Just log in to the GCash app and tap your phone on the payment terminal—no extra fees!

Requirements to use Tap to Pay

We’re gradually rolling out Tap to Pay to GCash users. Once it’s available to you, you can use Tap to Pay if:

• Your phone runs on Android (Not available for Huawei or iOS yet).
• Your phone supports NFC. Check the list of NFC devices here.
• You’re a Fully Verified user.

How to activate and use Tap to Pay

1. Log in to GCash.
2. Tap View All Services.
3. Find Tap to Pay under Pay.
4. Agree to the Terms and Conditions.

5. Hold your phone near the terminal.
