You can avail of this product if you are:
- Age 1-75 years old*
- Traveling from or to the Philippines
- Traveling within the country
- Undertaking a trip not more than 90 consecutive days
- On travel of at least 100 miles or 150 kilometers away from your registered place of residence

How do I file a claim for Travel Master with COVID-19?
To file for a claim, fill out Malayan’s online claims form and attach your policy, e-ticket, passport and related documents of your claim or you may send an email to csc@malayan.com.

How do I cancel my Policy for Travel Master
Requests for cancellations made prior to the inception of the trip are entitled to a refund of 50% of Net Premium (excluding taxes and charges).
Can I buy this Policy for someone else?
Yes, you may purchase a policy for someone else. However, kindly make sure that the details to be stated when the policy is being purchased are correct.
Can I upgrade my Policy?
Malayan can accept upgrade from lower limits to higher limits subject for review and approval. Downgrades are not allowed
Can I own multiple policies?
No, you can only avail one policy per travel period
How do I extend my policy as my trip has been extended?
To extend your policy, send a copy of your insurance and your new travel end date at csc@malayan.com for Malayan Insurance to be able to send a quotation regarding your new travel date. Please note that the whole travel period must not exceed 90 days.
I encountered an emergency while travelling. What number should I contact for assistance?
In case of an emergency you may contact Malayan’s assistance provider, Assist America, via Viber using the number 0917-562-2100 or email medservicephils@assistamerica.com and provide your policy copy for reference. You could also download the Assist America Mobile App from Google Playstore or Apple App Store prior to your trip and simply “Tap for Help” in an emergency.
My trip was cancelled and I no longer need insurance, can I get a refund?
Request for cancellations made prior to the inception of the trip are entitled to a refund of 50% of Net Premium (excluding taxes and charges).
Travel period may also be moved (once) to another date.
Can I amend my policy in case of travel changes?
You can amend your insurance coverage as long as your trip has yet to commence. You may also extend your period of travel for as long as it does not exceed 90 days. Please contact Malayan Insurance at csc@malayan.com.
My visa got denied, can I get a refund?
Yes, you can get a refund as long as the policy has not commenced yet. The amount to be refunded is 50% less of taxes and charges.
Can Travel Master extend to cover foreigner nationals?
Yes. Foreigners traveling to the Philippines can be covered under Travel Master with COVID-19 by Malayan Insurance. The policy commences upon entry through Philippine immigration gates and ceases upon exit through the same enroute to departure from the country.
