What is the US Virtual Account?
The US Virtual Account in GCash is a virtual account powered by Meridian that can receive funds in US dollars. With it, eligible users can hold and manage USD payments directly from US companies, payroll platforms, or accounts. With the received US dollars, these eligible users can withdraw the funds to PHP.
Use of the US Virtual Account service is subject to Meridian's separate terms and privacy policy. You must review and agree to such terms before using the service.
GCash Virtual US Accounts are issued and maintained by Meridian Payments US under a "for benefit of" arrangement. These are not bank accounts and do not qualify as deposits hence not covered by any deposit insurance schemes.
A US Account gives you your own United States (“US”) account details, including a routing number and account number, that you can share with US payers. Payments sent to this account are credited to your USD balance.
You can choose when to convert your USD to Philippine pesos (PHP). If your conversion mode is set to automatic, incoming USD funds will be converted to PHP and transferred to your linked account.
