Oona Compulsory Third Party Liability
The Oona Compulsory Third Party Liability (CTPL) Insurance will protect you from financial obligations in the event of an injury or death of a third party arising from an accident involving your covered vehicle. CTPL is a requirement of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) before your vehicle can be registered.

Eligibility
You can purchase the policy if you are:
- An owner of a registered vehicle in the Philippines
- A Fully Verified GCash user

Oona CTPL Insurance covers the following:
- Death Indemnity – If the worst happens, this provides financial support to the family of a third party who tragically loses their life in an accident involving your vehicle.

How much is the Premium?
The premium for Oona CTPL insurance varies depending on your vehicle type. Check the specific vehicle category your unit falls under. You can purchase multiple Oona CTPL Insurance policies for different vehicles (car, motorcycle, etc) but you can only own one (1) CTPL insurance policy at a time per vehicle.

Claims
Filing your insurance claim with Oona is simple and convenient. You can choose to fill out the online claim form and upload all required documents, or you can contact Oona directly via phone or email for additional assistance.
Standard Claim Requirements
Make sure to prepare and submit the following documents:
- A copy of your vehicle’s Official Receipt (OR) and Certificate of Registration (CR)
- A copy of your driver’s license
- A certified true copy or the original police report, including a sworn statement
- If the insured individual is not the same as the vehicle’s registered owner: a copy of the Deed of Sale
For Third-Party Bodily Injury Claims
Additional documents required:
- Receipts for medicines provided to the victim
- Hospital bills and receipts
- Birth Certificate of the victim (if the victim is a minor)
For Third-Party Death Claims
Additional documents required:
- Death Certificate of the victim
- Official funeral expense receipts
- Marriage Certificate (if the victim was married)
- Birth Certificate of the victim (if the victim was a minor or single)
Cancellation
If you no longer need CTPL insurance, you may request for cancellation by notifying Oona Insurance through their customer service hotlines or email to get a refund, subject to the terms and conditions of your Oona CTPL Insurance policy.
