How to create a GBonds account

GBonds is a feature in the GCash app that lets you invest in government bonds for as low as PHP 500.

Who are qualified to use GBonds

You can use GBonds if you:

• Are at least 18 years old
• Are a Fully Verified GCash user
• Have a verified email address
• Have updated your GCash information in the last 3 years
• Are not a US resident or citizen
• Do not yet have a GBonds account (you can only have 1 GBonds account)

Follow the steps below to start using GBonds:

1. On your GCash app, tap GInvest > GBonds.
2. Read the screens > tap Proceed.
3. Fill in all the required details > tap Next.
4. Check your details and answers. Tap Confirm and agree to the terms and conditions.

After you tap Confirm, you will see a message that your application is being processed. Tap Explore GBonds to see the GBonds dashboard.

You will get one email that your application is being processed, and another email with the result within 1 business day.

While waiting for approval, you can already:

• View the GBonds dashboard
• Top up
• Withdraw
• Place buy orders for Retail Treasury Bonds on Pre-Sale

Once you are approved, you can place buy and sell orders for other GBonds products.

If you are rejected, you can apply again right away. Check your details carefully before you apply again.
