I got an error saying “Confirming your payment” after scanning a QR code to pay with GCash. What should I do?
If you received an error that says “Confirming your payment” after making a QR payment, this means we are currently verifying your transaction with the merchant. This can happen due to a delay in system communication.
What should I do next?

Wait a few minutes. The transaction may still go through.
Take a screenshot of the error message for reference. - Show the error screen to the merchant to confirm that a payment attempt was made.
- Check your Transaction History in the GCash app to see if the payment was successful.
If the transaction still doesn’t appear after a few minutes, you may proceed with another payment method to complete your purchase.
