What happens to the GCash Jr. account once my child turns 18 years old?
When your child turns 18 years old, they will be prompted with the new Terms and Conditions as an adult.
- Open the GCash app
- Both the parent AND the child need to accept the T&Cs on their GCash apps
Once accepted, the child will no longer be linked to your mobile number. They will then be able to use GCash products and services such as, GStocks, GFunds, GCredit, and many more.
If the prompt doesn’t appear, update your GCash app to the latest version and reopen the app.
