How to create a GCash Jr. account for your child

Register your child for a GCash Jr. account!

A parent or guardian who wants to register a child for a GCash Jr. account must:

• Be at least 21 years old
• Have an active, Fully Verified GCash account registered with a Philippine-issued SIM

Requirements to create a GCash Jr. account

• Your child’s birth certificate (you must be listed as the registered parent).
  • Original copy, photo/screenshot, or photocopy is accepted.
  • If you are not the parent listed on the birth certificate, learn how to create a GCash Jr. account as a guardian.
• Your child’s valid ID:
  • National ID (Physical Card)
  • ePhilID (Paper format) or Digital National ID
  • Passport
  • Student ID
  • Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) for foreign or non-Filipino minors

Steps to sign up your child for GCash Jr.

1. On the GCash app, tap View All > GCash Jr.
2. Tap Add Child.
3. Enter your child’s mobile number, then tap Next.
4. Read the Terms and Conditions, then tap I consent.
5. Fill in your child’s personal details to match their ID, then tap Next.
6. Review all entered details, then tap Confirm.
7. Set a temporary 4-digit MPIN for your child’s account, then tap Next.
8. Tap Continue Application.
9. Review the checklist of requirements, then tap Continue.
10. Upload a clear photo of your child’s birth certificate, then tap Submit.
11. Choose the ID type you want to submit, then tap Select ID.
12. Take a clear photo of your child’s ID, then tap Next.
13. Ask your child to take a selfie using your phone.
14. Fill in any remaining details (ensure they match your child’s ID), then tap Next.
15. Answer the last two questions, then tap Next to submit.

You will see a confirmation screen once the enrollment is complete. 

You will also receive an SMS confirming that GCash has received the application. You’ll get an update within 3 days.
