Requirements
- The parent must be a Fully Verified GCash user
- Your child’s birth certificate (you must be the registered parent). Original, screenshot, or photocopy is allowed.
- Your chlid should be between 7 to 17 years old
- Your child must have at least 1 of these IDs:
- National ID (Card Type)
- ePhil ID (Paper Type) / Digital National ID
- Passport
- Student ID
- Alien Certificate of Registration (for foreign or non-Filipino minors)
Steps to sign up your kid for GCash Jr.
- On the GCash app, tap View All > GCash Jr.
- Tap Add Child.
- Enter your child’s mobile number and tap Next.
- Read the Terms and Conditions, then tap I consent.
- Fill in your child’s details. Make sure the details match their ID, then tap Next.
- Review all the details, then tap Confirm.
- Set a temporary MPIN (a 4-digit password) for your child’s account, then tap Next.
- Tap Continue Application.
- Review the requirements and tap Continue.
- Upload your child’s birth certificate and tap Submit.
- Choose the ID type you want to submit and tap Select ID.
- Take a photo of your child’s ID and tap Next.
- Ask your child to take a selfie using your phone.
- Fill in any remaining details, ensuring they match your child’s ID, and tap Next.
- Answer the last two questions and tap Next.
You will see a confirmation page once the enrollment is complete.
You will receive an SMS to confirm that GCash has received the GCash Jr. application. You’ll get an update within 3 business days.
