Cash in fees

Adding money to your GCash wallet is called "cashing in." Read this guide for the different fees per cash-in method:

Linked Local Banks (InstaPay Cash In)

• BPI: PHP 15
• UnionBank: 
  • PHP 0 for up to PHP 1,000 (February 16 - April 30, 2026)
  • PHP 5 for over PHP 1,000 (starts February 16, 2026)

Online Banking (InstaPay or PESONet)

PayPal & Payoneer

You can cash in directly from your PayPal or Payoneer account.

Fees:

• PayPal:
  • Under PHP 20,000: 1% of amount
  • PHP 20,000+: PHP 200
  • Starting March 7, 2026: All amounts: 1% of cash in amount
• Payoneer: FREE

Over-The-Counter

FREE for up to PHP 8,000 per month. A 2% fee applies to amounts over the monthly limit.

Note: Your FREE limit resets on the 1st day each month.

Sample fee computation:

• May 1: Cash in PHP 7,000 = FREE (under limit)
• May 5: Cash in PHP 1,100 = PHP 2 fee (PHP 100 over limit: 100 × 2% = PHP 2)
• June 1: Cash in PHP 5,000 = FREE (limit reset)

Remittance

Sending and claiming remittance is FREE.

GCash Pera Outlet (GPO)

There's a suggested fee price of 1% on total cash-in amount. However, the final fee is set by each GPO and may vary. Check the fee with the outlet first. Minimum amount: PHP 100.

Example:

• Cash In: PHP 1,000
• Service Fee: PHP 10 (1% of PHP 1,000)
• Pay GPO: PHP 1,010
• Get in Wallet: PHP 1,000
