Transfer money to bank accounts
You can send money to your bank account by transferring manually or through a QR code. Learn how to:
Bank transfer
Note: A PHP 15 fee will be charged per transaction.
- Select the logo of your bank
- Enter the amount to send, account name, and account number
- Tap Send Money
- Review the transfer details then tap Confirm
- Scan or upload your Bank QR code
- The account name and number will be automatically filled in. Enter the amount to send
- Tap Send Money
- Review the transfer details then tap Confirm
Save bank account details
You may save the details of your bank accounts for future transactions. You can save up to 20 bank accounts.
- On the Bank Transfer page, tap Add account
- Select the bank you wish to save
- Enter the required information then tap Next
- Review the bank details then tap Confirm
- Once confirmed, it will appear under My Saved Bank Accounts
Schedule bank transfer
You can schedule up to 5 automatic Bank Transfers weekly and/or monthly, even on holidays and weekends.
If a scheduled Bank Transfer is set on an irregular date (i.e. 31st of the month, 30th of the month, leap year, etc.), the transfer will be processed every last day of the month.
- Select a saved bank account
- Tap Add New Schedule
- Enter the frequency and amount
- To add more scheduled transfers, tap + Add New Schedule
- Once done, tap Next
- Review the account details and schedule then tap Confirm

Delays may happen due to system errors or ongoing bank maintenance.
The sender may receive an SMS stating that the funds will be reversed back to their GCash wallet in 1-2 banking days or the funds will be credited to the targeted bank account in 3-5 banking days. In case there is an issue with the receiving bank, it will be credited back to the sender's GCash wallet.
If the money has not been sent to the receiving bank account after the said timeframe, submit a ticket here.
If you made a bank transfer with the wrong account details, you may reach out to the receiving bank. As per our terms and conditions, all successful fund transfers are final and irreversible.
To help improve security, your confirmation messages were moved from your text message inbox (SMS) to your GCash App Inbox or Transaction History.
- Check your network signal and make sure you have a stable connection
- Check what your Wallet and Transaction Limits are based on your GCash Profile
- Check if your GCash balance is enough to send money
- Make sure you entered the correct OTP
- If you still are unable to transfer money to another bank due to the error "Unable to process your request," submit a ticket and provide screenshot/s of the error/s for verification
