Can I open an EzySave+ by Maybank account?

EzySave+ is a Maybank–GCash savings account in the GCash app. Earn 0.1875% per year from PHP 0.01, get free life insurance up to PHP 1,000,000 with a PHP 50,000 average daily balance, and enjoy free BancNet ATM withdrawals nationwide.

Who can open an EzySave+ account?

You can open if you:

• Are at least 18 years old
• Are a Filipino citizen
• Are a Fully Verified GCash user
• Have at least one (1) valid government ID
• Use a PH-based SIM
• Can upload a photo of three (3) signatures on paper
• Do not already have a Maybank EzySave+ account

How to open EzySave+ in GCash

1. Go to GSave > EzySave+ by Maybank.
2. Tap I agree > Open EzySave+ Account.
3. Upload a photo of your valid ID and three (3) signatures.
4. Enter your details and accept Maybank’s Terms and Conditions.
5. Enter the 6-digit authorization code sent to your GCash number.
6. Verify and activate your account through the MAYBANK2U PH app. If you see “Branch Verification Required,”  you’ll need to go to a Maybank branch with a valid ID to verify. 

Important reminders

• If your account isn’t fully verified yet, you can only deposit a total of PHP 100,000.
• Once your account is fully verified, you can immediately deposit any amount.
