Paano mag-register para sa Personal Equity and Retirement Account (PERA) gamit ang GCash
Ang PERA ay isang voluntary retirement savings plan sa Philippines. Pwede kang mag-open ng PERA gamit ang GCash account mo. Pagkatapos mag-register, pwede mo nang i-manage ang PERA account mo through partner naming ATRAM gamit ang “PERA by ATRAM” app. May mga tax perks ka na ma-e-enjoy:
- 5% tax credit sa PERA contributions mo
- Tax-free ang investment income
- Walang insolvency at estate taxes
Before you start
- Pwede kang mag-register for PERA kung Filipino ka, at least 18 years old, may valid TIN, at Fully Verified ang GCash account mo.
- When you can withdraw from PERA account
- Retirement: Pag 55 years old ka na at nakapag-contribute ka na for at least 5 years.
- Death of Contributor: Pwede nang mag-withdraw anytime ang beneficiaries mo.
- Illness or Injury: Kung na-ospital ka for more than 30 days.
- Transfer: Pwede mong i-transfer ang funds to another PERA product or administrator within 15 calendar days mula sa withdrawal.
- Note: May early withdrawal fees na pwede ma-apply. Pwede ring kailangan mong bayaran pabalik ang tax benefits na na-receive mo na.
- Kasama sa fees ang admin, custodian, trade, at management fees (0.5%–1%+ per year).
- Contribution limits per year:
- Local: PHP 200,000
- Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs): PHP 400,000
- Investment option: Unit Investment Trust Funds (UITFs)
How to sign up
Follow these steps to set up your PERA account through GCash:
- Pumunta sa ATRAM site: https://openfinance.atram.com.ph/
- Click Sign Up.
- Click Register using your bank or e-wallet
- Click Proceed to agree to the T&Cs
- Choose GCash and tap Proceed.
- I-scan ang QR code gamit ang GCash app.
- Log in via MPIN/biometrics
- I-confirm ang iyong application at i-tap Proceed to Partner.
- Mababalik ka sa ATRAM website.
- Ilagay ang iba mo pang information.
- I-install ang “PERA by ATRAM” app.
Maghintay ng 1-2 business days for approval. Makakatanggap ka ng update via SMS/email.
