I want to change my mobile number linked to my GCash account via Account Recovery
To update your number registered in GCash, you can perform “Account Recovery” to recover your old GCash account with a new number. Account Recovery lets you use and log in to your existing GCash account with a new mobile number in case you lost or don’t have access to your old number.
Things to know about Account Recovery
- Your old number must be Fully Verified
- Your new number must NOT be registered to another GCash account
- You can only perform Account Recovery ONCE per GCash account
How to Recover a GCash Account with a new mobile number
- Open your GCash app and enter your new mobile number. Tap Next
- Enter the 6-digit authentication code, then tap Submit
- Select Recover Account
4. Identify your GCash account type and review the steps. Tap Accept
5. Fill in the required fields and select Confirm
6. Enter the information associated with your old account and tap Next
7. Complete the process by taking a selfie scan
You’ll be led to a confirmation page indicating that your mobile number has been updated.
