Eligibility
You can buy this if you are:
- 18 to 54 years old
- A Fully Verified GCash user
- In good health and has never been a ‘confirmed COVID-19 case’
- A Filipino citizen or a foreigner who is a legal resident of the Philippines
Coverage
The following are NOT covered by Cash for Dengue Costs Insurance
- Claims for a Dengue or COVID-19 test that happen within the 15-day waiting period
- Claims arising from Dengue or COVID-19 diagnosis that happen within the 15-day waiting period
- Claims for complications caused by other conditions or illnesses besides dengue fever or COVID-19 during hospital confinement
- Claims for any medical products or services that are provided free of charge
Note: Waiting period is the 15-day duration from the Effective Date of the Policy before you can make any valid claim to your policy. The waiting period also applies when you make a change in your benefit coverage. In this instance, the waiting period will start from the effective date of change.

You can set a standard order or choose to name beneficiary/ies during purchase.
The standard order is as follows:
- Surviving Legal Spouse;
- Surviving legitimate, illegitimate, legitimated, legally adopted; or
- Surviving parents; or
- Surviving siblings

- Review the product details, then tap Get A Quote Now. Make sure to read the details about the product (Product Description, Coverage, Benefits, Premiums, and Family Plan).
- Choose your plan type, then tap Next
- For the Plan type select Me & my family, then tap Next
- Answer the eligibility questions, then tap Next
- Answer the questions about your health and lifestyle, then tap Next
- Add your dependents. Tap Get Quote
- Read the guidelines and tick the box to agree with the terms and conditions. Tap Confirm and Add Dependent
- Choose your coverage plan and a yearly or monthly payment schedule, then tap Continue
- Review and confirm your purchase then tap Next
- Once you have read and understood, tap the box stating that you’ve read and agree with the declarations. Tap Confirm

Completion of purchase
Upon completion of the application process, you will see a confirmation page saying your Cash for Dengue Costs (with Free COVID-19 Cover) insurance plan has successfully been issued. An e-Policy will also be sent to your registered email address within 24 hours and will also be available on the Policy Page in the GInsure page inside the GCash app.
Note: The amount for payment will be automatically deducted from your GCash wallet upon purchase. Please make sure you have enough balance in your GCash wallet to make a successful transaction.
Claims
You can file for a claim when deemed necessary, as long as it is already after the waiting period.
- The waiting period is the 15-day duration from the Effective Date of the Policy before you can make any valid claim to your policy.
- The waiting period also applies when you make a change in your benefits coverage. In this instance, the waiting period will start from the effective date of the change.
To file a claim, you will only provide the details of your claim and upload supporting documents through the Manage Insurance page on GInsure. Benefits for approved claims will be released within 3-5 banking days. Payment will be credited directly to your GCash wallet or nominated bank account.
For Dengue or COVID-19 test allowance claims
- From the GInsure homepage, select your insurance policy under Manage My Insurance
- Go to your active policy and tap File a Claim
- Select your claim type and input claim details (e.g. date of testing, hospital, Dengue or COVID-19 positive test result reference number)
- Upload a supporting document for your dengue test result, then tap Next
For Dengue or COVID-19 confinement claims
- From the GInsure homepage, select your insurance policy under Manage My Insurance
- Go to your active policy and tap File a Claim
- Select your claim type and input claim details
- Upload a supporting document, then tap Next
- Select payout details (GCash or Bank Transfer), then tap Submit
