Why was I charged for a Google Play Subscription in my GCash?
Make sure to regularly check your subscriptions and purchases on the Google Play Store. If you have any payment concerns, refer to the following:
To check if you have a subscription to Google Play Store, follow the steps below:
- On your Android device, go to Google Play and tap your account on the upper right
- Select Payments and Subscriptions > Subscriptions
- Select the subscription you want to know more about.
Cancelling a subscription payment
Note: Subscriptions made through Google Play are auto-renewed.
To cancel a subscription, try these options:
- Cancel via Google Play Store: Go to Cancel a Subscription on Google Play to unsubscribe directly.
- Remove GCash as a Payment Method: Unlink or remove GCash from your Google Play Store payment options.
Requesting a refund
Note: Refunds depend on the policies and terms and conditions of both Google Play and the Developer of the app you subscribed to.

- Google Play Store Website: Request a refund through the Google Play website.
- App Developer: Contact the developer to get in touch with an Android app's developer.
