Biometrics Login (iOS)
Enable biometrics login with Face ID
Important: Never share your MPIN or OTP (authentication code) with anyone.

Note: Before logging in to the GCash app, check your device settings and ensure that your biometrics is enabled. Here is a summary of how to check if your Face ID biometrics is enabled on your iOS device.
If you have an iOS device that is capable of Face ID log in, follow these steps to enable your Biometrics Login.
STEP 1: Tap on Settings on your device.
STEP 2: Tap Face ID & Passcode.
STEP 3: Enter your device passcode.
STEP 4: Ensure that Face ID is on.
Once you have enabled your biometrics, go to the GCash app from your home screen.
Here is a summary of how to enable your Biometrics Login on your iOS device.
Follow these steps to enable Biometrics Login on your iOS device.
STEP 1: On your GCash account, tap Profile at the bottom right of your screen.
STEP 2: Tap Settings from the menu.
STEP 3: Tap Biometrics Login.
STEP 4: Tap Enable Biometrics Login.
STEP 5: Enter the 6-digit Authentication Code sent to your GCash-registered mobile number, then tap Submit.
Note: Tap the Click here to resend button if you did not get the code.
STEP 6: A notification will show that your Biometrics Login is enabled. Start using the Biometrics Login feature the next time you log in to GCash.
Note: If you are not automatically logged in using your biometrics, click LOGIN WITH BIOMETRICS to manually log in using your biometrics.
Reminders:
- If Biometrics Login failed after three (3) consecutive attempts, you will be prompted to log in with your MPIN.
- Your Biometrics Login option will automatically be disabled once you reset your MPIN or tap Forgot MPIN.
- Always keep your MPIN and other information updated to keep your account secured.
Enable biometrics with fingerprint login
