This happens because the SIM card you are using is a recycled mobile number. This means the previous owner of your SIM card has a GCash account registered to that number.
If you are using a Globe / TM SIM card, reach out to our support team by clicking the Submit a Ticket at the end of this article and provide the following information:
- GCash Number:
- Date when SIM was bought:
- Postpaid or Prepaid:
However, if you are using a SMART / SUN SIM, kindly reach out to your service provider and request for documentation that you are using a recycled number.
