Note: BPI may impose additional fees for customer-initiated debits on certain types of accounts (such as BPI’s Kaya Savings accounts, which have a P5.00 fee/debit). If you think you were charged a transaction fee after cashing in, check with your BPI branch to verify what type of account you have.
Cashing In via InstaPay
If you're new to InstaPay, start by cashing in up to PHP 20,000 per day. Keep using the GCash app to increase your daily limit to PHP 50,000 in as fast as 2 weeks.
Step 1. Log in to the BPI Mobile app.
Step 2. Select ‘Transfers’ > ‘Transfer Money’ > ‘Transfer to another bank.’
Step 3. Select ‘GCash’ from the list of banks and fill in the details. (Note: your GCash-registered mobile number serves as your GCash Account Number in the 09XXXXXXXXX format).
Step 4. Confirm the details and enter your Mobile Key or One-Time PIN (OTP) that will be sent to your BPI-registered mobile number.
Note: The InstaPay service allows fund transfer amounts of at least Php1.00 up to a maximum of Php50,000.00 per transaction. Other applicable transfer and balance limits may apply on both your BPI account and GCash wallet.
*BPI charges a transfer fee of Php25.00 per InstaPay transaction. You may review the applicable fee prior to confirming the transaction in the BPI Mobile app.
Cashing In via Load E-Wallet
Step 1. Log in to the BPI Mobile App.
Step 2. Select ‘Payments/Load’ > ‘Load E-Wallet.’
Step 3. In the ‘Load to’ field, select ‘GCash’ from the list of E-Wallets and enter your GCash-registered mobile number as the ‘Reference Number’ (in the 09XXXXXXXXX format).
Step 4. Confirm the details and enter your Mobile Key or One-Time PIN (OTP) that will be sent to your BPI-registered mobile number.
*BPI currently offers the Load E-Wallet service for cashing in to GCash for free, subject to change. You may review the applicable service charge prior to confirming the transaction.

1. Where are the InstaPay / Load E-Wallet services available?
The InstaPay and Load E-Wallet services are available on the BPI Mobile App. You can also cash in using your BPI account by linking it in the GCash App. To learn more, please visit this page.
2. Will I be charged a fee to cash in via InstaPay / Load E-Wallet?
BPI charges a transfer fee of Php25.00 per InstaPay transaction. BPI currently offers the Load E-Wallet service for cashing in to GCash for free.
You may review the applicable service charge (if any) prior to confirming the transaction in the BPI Mobile App.
3. What are the transaction limits?
On the sending side (BPI), transaction limits are as follows:

On the receiving side (GCash), the following wallet limits are observed:
- Basic GCash Account*: Php 50,000 per month
- Fully Verified GCash Account: Php 100,000 per month
- Enterprise Account: Php 500,000 per month

4. How do I know if the transaction was successfully processed?
The BPI Mobile App will display a confirmation page if the transaction was successful. You will also receive a confirmation email from BPI sent to your BPI-registered email address.
You may also receive an SMS notification from GCash confirming the successful crediting of your GCash wallet.
5. How fast is the fund transfer / cash in process?
Assuming stable internet connection, funds should be debited from your BPI source account and credited to your GCash wallet in real-time.
6. My transaction failed. What should I do?
Kindly review your past transactions to determine if you’ve hit any BPI or GCash account/transaction limits. Otherwise, please contact BPI customer service (see FAQ #9 for contact information).
7. My BPI account was deducted, but the funds were not reflected in my GCash wallet.
If this happens, check to ensure that you entered the correct GCash mobile number in the ‘Reference Number’ field. You can view this on the confirmation screen displayed by the BPI Mobile App after you submitted the transaction, as well as in the confirmation email sent to your BPI-registered email address.
If you entered the correct GCash mobile number as the destination account, and have not received your funds after two business days, kindly contact BPI customer service (Please see FAQ #9 for contact information).
8. I sent the funds to a wrong GCash mobile number. What do I do?
Transactions are deemed final as long as a valid mobile number is entered. Please review all details prior to confirming the transaction, as neither BPI nor GCash can guarantee recovery of your funds.
