My GCash account was unlinked from an online merchant. What should I do?
If your GCash account was unlinked from a merchant for online payments such as Grab, Angkas, Move It etc., it might be because you are not yet Fully Verified.
Starting August 1, 2024, GCash updated its policy so that only users who have successfully completed the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process are allowed to transact online.
To ensure the safety of your transactions, this policy adheres to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) regulations that focus on customer due diligence, anti-money laundering, and combating the financing of terrorism. The goal of this policy is to better secure our payment platform and ensure its integrity.
Make sure to get a Fully Verified GCash account before re-linking to partner merchants for online payments.
