Eligibility
You are eligible to open a GSave by CIMB account if you fulfill all of the requirements below:
- A Filipino Citizen
- At least 18 years old
- A Fully Verified GCash user

GSave by CIMB interest rates
The interest rate annually is 2.6% with no minimum deposit and no maintaining balance. The minimum interest to be credited to your account is PHP 0.01, which will be credited daily.
Note: Interest earned is subject to a 20% withholding tax.
Compute for your interest earned: Gross Interest Earned = (Average Daily Balance x Interest Rate x number of days in a month) / 360
Sample computation:
- Average Daily Balance: PHP 10,000
- Interest rate: 2.6%
- Gross Interest earned = (PHP 10,000 x 2.60% x 31)/360 = PHP 22.38
