I want to update my account information in GCash
To update your account information in GCash, please make sure you are Fully Verified. If you aren’t Fully Verified yet, you won’t be able to make changes. You can update your name, birthday, email address, and address directly in the app.
How to update your name and birthdate in GCash
You can only update these details for THREE reasons only. Other reasons to change these details will not be accepted.
- Change in surname or civil status (e.g., marriage)
- Minor misspelling or error in your name or birthdate
- Legal change of name
Requirements
Prepare the necessary document based on your reason for the request and take a picture of it:

Once you have prepared the requirement, click here to ask for help to update your name or birthdate and attach the document.
A customer service representative will review the details you shared and work on your request. Your profile will be updated within 3 days, and you'll receive an SMS confirmation on your GCash-registered number.
How to Update your Email address
- On your GCash app, tap Profile > Tap the name beside your profile picture
- Tap Update Account Information
- Read through the reminders and tap Edit your Profile
- Input the 6-digit authentication code sent to your GCash registered number. Tap Next
- Complete the verification process
- Update your email address
- Input the 6-digit authentication code sent to your GCash registered number. Tap Submit
A confirmation screen will show that your email address has been updated.
How to Update Other Account Information
If you need to update other information in your GCash account, follow these steps:
- Open your GCash app.
- Go to Profile and tap on your name.
- Tap Update Account Information > Update Your Profile.
- Enter the 6-digit authentication code sent to your GCash-registered number and tap Next.
- Complete the verification process and fill out the necessary fields.
Your profile will be updated within 3 days, and an SMS confirmation will be sent to your registered mobile number.
