Depending on the location, surges, or other factors, SMS notification may either be delayed or not arrive at all. In this instance, keep calm... Simply recall if you have received or seen an in app confirmation of your payment. If you do, chances are your payment will be posted.
A good indicator as well that your payment was processed is when your GCash balance gets updated. Sometimes posting of payments may take up to 3 business days depending on the Biller.
Should GCash encounter problems posting your payment to the Biller, most likely the funds will be reversed back to your account the next business day. So be sure to monitor your GCash balance and try to make another payment if it happens.
If all points to a successful posting and for some reason your payment did not reflect on your next billing statement, submit a ticket and include the following details:
- Your complete name
- Your GCash mobile number
- Your email address
- Name of the Biller
- Date and time of transaction
- Amount paid
- Your Biller account number
- Transaction ID (if captured)
- Any screenshot of GCash confirmation (if any)
- Screenshot of your latest billing statement
A GCash representative will get back to you within 24 business hours after you have sent your inquiry.
Please note that GCash is merely a payment channel and we won't have any visibility on your account details at the Biller. Coordination will have to be made with our Biller counterparts subject to their timeline.
