My GCash account was downgraded to Basic
Your GCash account may have been downgraded because you have not updated your account information.
In accordance with the regulations of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, all Fully Verified GCash users must regularly update their account information in the GCash app.
If your account info needs to be updated, reminders will be sent via in-app and SMS.

- On your GCash app, tap Profile and tap on your name
- Tap Update Account Information > Get Started
- Follow and complete the necessary process
If you are unable to update your account info before the indicated deadline, your GCash account will be downgraded from Fully Verified to Basic. You will need to verify your account again.
Rest assured your funds are safe. Should you have any outstanding balance in your GGives, GCredit, GLoan, you may pay via our offline payment partners.
